May 2006 Threeguysfishing.com Internet Classic Pike Challenge
And the winner is:
Darren Andrew and his 48 inch pike!!! There were other photos submitted with the measurements, but we thought this one summed up the experience a little better!!!!! This wonderfull Pike was caught and released on opening day in Central Ontario, Saturday May 20th at 11:00 am on a perch coloured Husky Jerk. We are estimating the fish to be approximately 32 pounds. It was caught by casting into a rocky shoreline outside of a bay. We want to extend our congratulations to Darren and his trophy fish! We will have a running champion board set up with the running points total for the year’s tournaments. Darren gets extra points for being a conservationist and considerate angler by having released his pike back into the water! Darren has won himself a threeguysfishing.com prize package which includes a digital scale, tackle box, a hat from our sponsor a-f industries, and some lures! Thanks again and congrats!!
